Dark Matter by Blake Crouch (2016)
Ripper by Patricia Cornwell (2017)
The Flicker Men by Ted Kosmatka (2015)
The Nix by Nathan Hill 2016 Personal fave of '16. "The things you love the most will one day hurt you the worst.” Set against Occupy Wall Street and Chicago riots of '68, love, redemption and forgiveness. Beautifully written and rich with simple truths of life.
ORYX & CRAKE by Margaret Atwood. Published in 2003, this is the first book in the MaddAdam trilogy. It's the end of the world, but not via nuclear war. This speculative fiction creates an all too plausible way for the future to unravel at the hands of a careless society who care only about selling more, consuming more, genetically creating whatever they can because they can, never asking if they should.
Dracula vs. Hitler by Patrick Sheane Duncan
On A Pale Horse by Piers Anthony
Ghost Story by Peter Straub
The Secret History of Twin Peaks: A Novel by Mark Frost
